I have a domain name which I would like to leave where it is and use ip pointing ....can it be pointed to a subdomain rather than the actual domain?
There are ways to do it, but you have to understand dns systems and have control of it for your domain at your provider. Typically you need to have your domain here in order to have a subdomain for it here. However, if you have that kind of dns control at your present provier, it can certainly be done. You will need to get those answers from your provider since we cannot provide support for their systems since there are so many different configs a host can use.

What happens if I exceed my data transfer limit?
Any data transfer in excess of plan threshold, if allowed, will be charged at the end of the billing period. We have recently put measures in place to prevent your transfer from exceeding 20% over your allowance. Once you hit 20%, your account is automatically disabled until you contact us, or the next billing period hits.
Our system automatically starts emailing you warning messages when you reach 70% of allowed transfer so you don't get a surprise account shutdown or overage charges. At any point between 70% and 120% you can order more transfer, or take action to bring down your transfer to avoid shutdown.
